WHAT IS EARTHQUAKES?

 

            We have a two types of disasters that is a Natural hazard and Human-made Hazard.When we talk about a natural hazard this is a unpredictable phenomena that may cause severe death toll, damages to property, environment and socioeconomic condition of communities.while a human-made hazard those are mining, a fisher livelihood using explosive and the last is a cutting tress these people are making a insolence behavior. therefore every disaster can bring to us a human suffering and great damages properties and environment.

             So there's a lot of calamities just like mud flows,floods,drought, includes a typhoons,thunderstorms, and even earthquakes.

      WHAT IS EARTHQUAKES?When we hear the word "Earthquakes" we think of the shaking of the ground.however, an earthquake is more than just shaking of the earth's surface at it causes death and wide economic losses.According to UN International Strategy on Disaster Reduction(ISDR). this disaster risk is the potential loss in lives,health,states,livelihood,and various assets which are often challenging to quality.

       An earthquake is commonly described as simply shaking of the ground.However, this phenomenon is more complex that that. But then, all the possible question can answered in the field of Science.In other hand we have a "seismology", seismology means study of earthquakes and seismic waves that move through and around the earth. 

       In the 1990's the Baguio earthquake claimed a lives of many, while the 2013 Bohol earthquake has also left many dead and various historical and cultural infrastructure damaged or destroyed. It is imperative to learn what can be done or having to minimize this situation .

 we all know that every year in our school we conducting a earthquake drill, so we are very advocate this, therefore we must to aware and any possible  calamities  that we faced.
